Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior and SME DevOps Engineers to join our team! In this role you will get to apply knowledge of software, operating systems, networks, databases, architectures, and tools to improve the maintainability and operability of modern and containerized software systems supporting Defensive Cyber Operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Participating in SAFe® Agile Software Development and infrastructure teams bringing automation of testing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), in a SAFe® construct.

• Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other developers to aid and provide guidance in designing new features as well as determining defect fixes

• Build and implement new development tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve DevOps pipeline experience.

• Identifying technical problems and performing root cause analysis for development environment errors to produce software updates and fixes

• Investigate and resolve technical Continuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) issues

• Develop scripts to automate visualization

• Strong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation

• 100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, CO

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Senior

• Must have a Bachelors Degree (Masters highly preferred) in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with 10 years of experience.

• Certifications: SAFe® for Teams and AWS Dev Ops Engineer within 6 Months of start date

• Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance

• Experience with development languages such as React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

• Experience is databases such as SQL, Gitlab, & Artifactory

• Strong networking background with Linux

SME

• 15 years of SME experience in the field of DevOps

• Certifications: SAFe® for Teams and AWS Dev Ops Engineer within 6 Months of start date

• Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance

• SME Experience with out-of-band and in-band defensive cyber systems for “Identify/Detect”, and “Protect/respond capabilities

• SME Experience with development languages such as React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

• SME Experience is databases such as SQL, Gitlab, & Artifactory

• Strong networking background with Linux

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Top Secret OR interim/active Secret with ability to get Top Secret

• DoD 8140.03 Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.

• Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concepts

Salary Range:

$113,100.00 - $203,600.00
