Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Digital Engineering / Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Lead to join our team! In this role you will be leading the implementation, management of digital engineering processes to enable more informed technology and architecture decisions. This includes the design, implementation, and maintenance of a standardized MBSE approach in accordance with ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015 Systems and Software Engineering – System Life Cycle Processes. The Digital Engineering (MBSE) Lead leads the creation of a phased development approach for architecture models to include system, sub-system, down to component level models, while facilitating simulation-based engineering practices across full system lifecycle activities. The Digital Engineering Lead is responsible for establishing necessary communication and interactions across all of engineering to ensure accuracy and completeness of digital engineering artifacts (to ensure models match implementation).

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Physics/Engineering or Computer-related field of study

  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience working in an engineering field

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience developing MBSE Cameo Models, mapping requirements within models, and building supporting simulations to test models built

  • A minimum 2 years’ experience developing advanced analysis, evaluation, and metrics within a digital engineering context or model (e.g. statistical predictions, connectivity, failure analysis, throughput/latency, etc.)

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in engineering or operations of a weapons system, command and control system, space system, streaming data processing system, or similar system

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading people and establish goals and plans that meet project objectives

  • Application of Digital Engineering/MBSE in the context of a multi-layered system architecture, such as logical and physical layers

  • Possess good Oral and Written skills

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or similar

  • OCSMP Certified

  • Expertise in one or more of the following technical areas: Software Development/Integration, 2D/3D Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Visualization, Environmental Phenomenology, Remote Sensing, GEOINT, Electro-optical and Infrared Signature Analysis, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Network Routing and Optimization, and Orbital Mechanics/Orbital Analysis

  • Experience providing MBSE functions in support of USSF, SDA, or Intelligence Community Customers

  • Basic knowledge of the open systems interconnection (OSI) model and/or common networking protocols and layers

Salary Range:

$136,200.00 - $245,200.00
