Parsons Corporation Senior Engineer - Civil (Saudi National) in Jizan, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Engineer - Civil to join our team! Senior Civil Engineer performs engineering and design responsibilities and provides technical support to the Engineering Department under the supervision of the Section Supervisor. Work on entry level of design and preparation of technical RFPs, provide pre and post award support to the Section Manager. Rotate across all Engineering Department disciplines and coordinate the development and implementation of basic engineering practices. .
What You'll Be Doing:
Assist in the review of basic design for the engineering projects according to the JCPDI codes and standards.
Work on the basic design from concept, Design Development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD). Work closely with the AEs and reviewers, provide necessary coordination for data acquisition, and 3rd party reviews. Conduct design review meetings.
Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and drawings for bid packages related to the development of various community and industrial projects.
Assist in the review of A/E contractors' design submittals, specifications, calculations and coordinate work of other disciplines and departments.
Assist in the review of vendor drawings and shop drawings.
Performs various engineering calculations, as necessary.
Performs field inspection and provides field support as necessary.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
A Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with 4 years of postgraduate experience.
Basic knowledge of engineering and construction disciplines.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
The ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is essential.
Computer literate and proficient with the industry standard and design software for engineering projects and MS Office package.
