Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to overseeing the construction of large-scale, complex water/wastewater treatment plants, industrial manufacturing plants, or power plants. This is a very large, 5 year project with a lot of opportunity for growth.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing a very large Water Treatment Plant upgrade in Northern California

  • Working with one of the largest US Contractors

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of field experience overseeing the construction of large-scale, complex water/wastewater treatment plants, industrial manufacturing plants, or power plants.

  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical systems, including pumps, blowers, compressors, mechanical mixing, process piping, HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, and material handling equipment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment related to mechanical systems.

  • Good communication skills with contractors, engineers, owner’s representatives, to ensure code and standards compliance.

  • Ability to accurately document inspection observations, generate daily inspection reports, and make corrective action recommendations.

  • Physical ability to work on active construction sites, including confined access entry and climbing ladders and stairs, and OSHA training record.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related field is desired

  • Experience with Water Treatment Plants

Salary Range:

$15.68 - $71.30
