Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Missile Mechanical Engineer to join our Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Integration Support Contract (ISC) 2.0 team! In this role you will provide Mechanical Engineering services at the working level with oversight by technical leadership.
What You'll Be Doing:
Exhibit technical and operational proficiency in the Electrical Engineering discipline including, but not limited to, mechanical design, structural analysis, engineering materials assessment, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Provide working-level engineering services with oversight by the technical leadership team.
Play a key role implementing assigned projects.
Manage multiple Stakeholder needs.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS (Aerospace/Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering) + 5 years of related engineering experience (6+ years is preferred) ORMS (Aerospace/Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering) + 3 years of related engineering experience (4+ years is preferred) ORPhD (Aerospace/Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering) + 1 years of related engineering experience (2+ years is preferred)
Must have a current active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret security clearance with SSBI within last six years.
Must have an active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret security clearance with SSBI within last six years.
Highly organized, detail oriented, demonstrated problem-solving.
Ability to perform complex calculations and mathematical modeling.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Current active TS/SCI with ability to pass polygraph exam upon request.
Professional Engineering License.
Working knowledge of ICBMs and Air Force acquisition lifecycle management.
Working knowledge of general Systems Engineering principals and/or Systems Engineering certification.
Working knowledge of Air Force Systems Engineering processes.
