Parsons' is seeking an Acquisition Program Analyst to support Army Program Managers in managing the requirements and program planning for system acquisition. Tasks include program planning and scheduling, providing recommendations for program objectives, operating schedules, and resource requirements. Provide acquisition expertise program development, support development of program objectives, operating schedules & budget planning, control and management. Prepare program documentation in support of Milestone Decisions and reviews for the system's acquisition process, and will assist program and product managers in developing obligation plans, P&R Forms, Weapon System Reviews, and Program Objective Memorandum.
BS in Business, Management or engineering or similar education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree
5 years' program management support for DoD acquisition programs as a DoD PMO or SETA support
5 years' experience in the DOD 5000 acquisition process, supporting the acquisition aspects of program management, scheduling, trade-off analysis, lifecycle costing, risk management, and supportability
Experience developing DOD PMO systems program objectives, operating schedules & budget planning
Experience with PPBE, GFEBS, MIPR process with special accent on spend plans, execution monitoring and budgeting tasks
Experience developing documentation for milestone decisions and reviews
Experience drafting contract documents & procurement support for software-intensive programs
Experience in the preparation of technical reports, contracts, financials spreadsheets, financial accounting system and status reports
Possess and demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills
Possess and demonstrate the ability to self-start, set priorities, and work both independently and within a team environment under deadlines
This position requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance, which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
