Parsons is seeking a Software Engineer to our support to our Radar Systems Integration Lab (SIL) efforts. The Software Engineer will collaborate with our team of radar engineers to develop a real-time modeling and simulation (M&S) environment of radar systems, influence the next generation of radar systems and signal / data processing technologies applied to radar systems. The Software Engineer will support the development of a new SIL and provide programming expertise in development new M&S capabilities. The Software Engineer will support the research, design, test, and development of visual interfaces, M&S systems, algorithms and system integration of multiple software products into a larger system. Perform research and development to produce new designs and solutions for use in current and future products.

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
3-10+ years in the design, development, and implementation of software modules and systems
Experience in programming with C++ Experience in developing and operating effectively in a Linux environment
Experience in the design, develop, and test of software algorithms, applications and components
Experience with developing and implementing custom software algorithms
Experience with coding interface messaging software components
Excellent communications, problem-solving and teamworking skills
Active DOD Secret Clearance
Experience programming in CUDA and/or OpenCL
Experience with Radar Systems and Technology, SIGINT, and/or EW Systems
Experience developing Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Digital Beam Forming (DBF), and/or general radar processing algorithms
Experience in accelerating software modules for GPU (Graphical Processing Unit) implementation
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
