Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Chief Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to coordinate among the Contractor’s development team, the Product Owner and government team, and the key technical stakeholders to ensure that the technical architecture needs are planned and accounted for in support of the new business features/capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and explore solution alternatives while identifying trade-offs due to requirements and constraints.

  • Enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline through appropriate design guidelines

  • Actively participate in the Continuous Exploration process as part of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, especially in identification, planning, and execution of technical work

  • Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements

  • Establish critical non-functional requirements

  • Support technology/engineering aspects of Program planning and execution

  • Provide oversight and foster Built-In Quality and Team and Technical Agility

  • Provides functional management of the System Engineer and Test / Hardware group and provides mentorship and technical leadership to the team including other functions within RSEG – SW development and DSP

  • Collaborates and coordinates with external and internal customers and partners – builds collaborative relationships through effective communications and outreach

  • Ability to participate in solutioning for new programs, proposals, pre-proposal efforts to develop concepts and mission requirements into viable system architectures for successful proposals and program execution.

  • Assists with development of technical roadmaps and strategy for RSEG lines of business – including product development
