Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support on-going systems development, fielding and product support for Army Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (CRAM) Radar systems at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. This position includes opportunities to influence the Army's next generation of radar systems and technologies and support to Soldiers and units operating and maintaining these systems.
Responsibilities:
Support the development and performance of logistics management operations.
Plans and coordinates the execution of Integrated logistics support for advanced weapon systems, encompassing emerging technologies and complex fielding requirements.
Responsibilities will include the following logistics elements for multiple acquisition programs: maintenance; fielding support; manpower and personnel; supply support; support and test equipment; training and training devices; technical data; computer resources support; and packaging handling, storage, transportation and facilities.
Performs the full range of planning, liaison, equipment and control of logistics phases of field exercises and tests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience or 7+ additional years of logistics experience required
5+ years logistics support for complex government technical acquisition programs, with preferred experience in the acquisition, development, and fielding of Radar, C5ISR, and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
5 years leadership experience for logistical aspects of DoD 5000 acquisition programs
5 years experience performing Integrative Logistics Support (ILS) functions
Preference to candidates with hands-on familiarity with Army Radar Systems
Demonstrated ability to author point papers and policy documents for executive approval
Excellent communication skills including the ability to work on multi-functional teams
Understanding of the DoD 5000 acquisition and test & evaluation processes and requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
Excellent communications, problem-solving and coordination skills
An active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance is required, which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
