Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented System Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Army to develop the next generation of software applications to support improved intelligence gathering and situational awareness.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide system engineering support and advice across the team to support the development and integration of new software applications.
Collaborate with all aspects of the team to resolve system engineering issues and actions, to include: tracking user requirements and their translation into system requirements and specifications; providing expertise and direction in the development.
Provide system engineering support and advice for system and software integration to existing and new platforms, when needed; evaluate project initiatives, designs, and design changes at the system and subsystem level.
Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context.
Support the development of system-level requirements documented in the System / Subsystem Specifications (SSS), identification and system-level design information document in the Software Architecture Design Document (SADD).
Help to define the design details including CONOPs (concept of operations), Requirements, System Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and design review details.
Development or Maintenance of specification, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
Participates in peer reviews of system requirements.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
Possess seven (7) years of experience in systems engineering for complex DoD software applications and capability development.
Experience with DoD 5000.02 documentation requirements.
Experience with use case development and documenting requirements derivation.
Experience applying engineering and software development principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, test, or evaluate software applications and related systems.
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

Salary Range:
$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
