Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.
Review overall project status with the project management team and recommend corrective action where necessary
Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work arounds.
Verifying actual progress and comparing actual performance to original plans.
Reports status of schedule to appropriate project and Company management as well to the client.
Evaluate allocation of resources and provide recommendations to maintain the required progress.
Customizes project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
Accumulates historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Lead meetings related to the schedule and its associated process and procedure.
Familiarity with delay analysis techniques and claims to review the submitted claims and prepare recommendation report.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or project management, with minimum 12 years of experience in managing schedules and project controls activities related to infrastructure projects.
Minimum 3 years of experience in GCC, particularly in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
Proficient PC skills including proficiency in P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of engineering, construction tools and general processes for infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
