Parsons Corporation Training Developer in Aiken, South Carolina

Job Description:


  • Prepare employee training plans and qualification standards.

  • Assist managers to define personnel training needs.

  • Perform training analyses including needs analyses, task lists, job/task analyses, etc.

  • Design, develop, and review courseware including lesson plans, presentations, exam banks, etc.

  • Conduct training including presentations, on-the-job evaluations, etc.

  • Evaluate instructors, courses, courseware, and training program effectiveness

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. 


  • 10-12 years of diversified technical experience

  • Nuclear Facility Personnel Education and Experience Requirements, per DOE O426.2, Table 1, Hazard Category 2 and 3 Nonreactor for Instructors

  • Working level knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) model described in DOE-HDBK-1078 or INPO equivalent.

  • Have a working knowledge of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) core functions and guiding principles, and understanding of how Environment Safety & Health (ES&H) requirements are integrated into training material and classroom presentations.

  • Candidates with Salt Waste Processing Facility (SWPF) Project experience are highly preferred.


Proficiency in utilizing PC and various software applications related to field of expertise is required. Also requires thorough knowledge of standard practices within field of expertise, as well as applicable codes and regulations. Must be proficient in use of communication technology and automation in order to achieve the highest level of productivity. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, on technical and non-technical subjects.
