Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Architect - II to join our team! In this role you will get to collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that designs meet client requirements, local regulations, and international standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • As an Architect, you will participate in the architectural design process. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that designs meet client requirements, local regulations, and international standards. Your expertise in Revit will be essential for creating detailed drawings and models, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to our architects and contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes.

  • Regular communication with project managers / team / clients to update the status and to resolve any technical issues.

  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.

  • Work with architectural design manager to establish policies, procedures, and guidelines for architectural team.

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and design concepts.

  • Using the TOR to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals.

  • Develop proposals as per client’s needs, building’s usage, local and international codes, and environmental impact.

  • Initiate requirements gathering, designing, and implementing client requirements.

  • Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.

  • Utilize 3D for enhance project visualization.

  • Review and approve architectural drawings and specifications.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Reviews and checks design documents for correctness and conformity with project requirements and specifications, including local and international building codes, guidelines, and regulations.

  • Finalize design within budgets and timelines.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in architectural design principles and practices.

  • Strong knowledge of Qatar's local building codes and international building standards.

  • Advanced skills in Revit software and other relevant design tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture. Other related experiences would not be accepted.

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in the GCC, in architect position.

  • Must provide a portfolio to illustrate artistic skills.

  • Expert knowledge of construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.

  • MMUP registration is required.

  • QCDD & GSAS registrations are preferable.

Software Skills

  • AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Revit – is required.

  • 3ds Max

  • SketchUp

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • MS Office
