Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to manage all contract activities for a major PMCM project.
What You'll Be Doing:
Effective management and Administration of multiple contracts.
identification and management of potential claims.
Payment process, including progress payments, milestones, and invoicing.
Claims management.
Change management.
Purchasing, including monitoring of long lead items.
Assist with all dispute resolution matters.
Provide regular reports.
Manage the negotiation and agreement of final accounts.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Registered for relevant discipline in Qatar MMUP Engineering Committee.
15+ years overall post graduate experience with 6 years prime contracts management
PMCM Experience preferably in the GCC.
Ability to lead a team of contract engineers and administrators.
Working knowledge of FIDIC and other international standards, pre- and post award contract administration.
Extensive experience with contract administration, negotiation, high value claims, dispute resolution, arbitration.
Ability to work as part of specialist team, work with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to perform management capacity.
Working knowledge of software typically associated with contract administration.
Experience of administering multiple contracts at any one time.
Interpreting contracts and dealing with variations, conflicts, claims, disputes, and other contractual issues.
