IntermediateFacility Analystto support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) inKirtland, NM. This Intermediate Analyst will support the Facilities and Services (FDF) Director and Government customers to execute day-to-day mission planning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

  • Act as the onsite facility manager

  • Develop, document, prioritize, and execute facility requirements to meet customer established timelines

  • Gather data and perform analysis for planning purposes, to assess trends, make predictions, etc.

  • Manage and maintain customer’s calendar to de-conflict competing requirements and ensure timeliness of meetings.

  • Coordinate FDF directed actions and track suspense

  • Participate in infrastructure working groups to coordinate and plan for preventative maintenance, and renovation projects

  • Develop/review Executive Level briefings and issuances

  • Prepare annual spend plans, track progress of highly visible facility engineering projects, and assist the MDA Regional Managers with technical requirements

  • Attend meetings with Government to ensure all project requirements are captured and identified to better support the customers’ needs

  • Generate meeting minutes and action items for all attended meetings; track all Front Office actions to close

  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or as needed status reports on tasks and accomplishments

  • Must be able to develop strong rapport with personnel representing organizations internal to MDA

  • Work across all MDA Regions to develop a sustainment integrated master schedule to ensure lifecycle management for all facilities is being budgeted across the Agency’s Real Property

  • Ability to resolve issues and make sound decisions which are in the best interest of the government customer

  • Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize work

  • Ability to learn and support multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :Capable of comprehending personnel space management and interior design to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


  • A Bachelor’s degree with seven years of relevant experience is required. Or, a Master’s Degree and three years’ experience;

  • Must possess strong writing and analytical skills to conduct technical reviews, planning, correspondence, and trend analysis

  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, work well within a team, interact with multiple levels of management, and be able to manage customer and contractor relationships

  • Works well with numbers

  • Understands facility operations and lifecycle management


  • Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment

  • Basic to Intermediate experience with MS Project is a plus

  • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

CLEARANCE : Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
