  • Reports to the Engineering Lead and is responsible for providing RF hardware design, fabrication, integration and testing; as well as modeling, simulation, analysis, integration, and test support for products, processes, and Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR).

  • Provide engineeringsupport for tests, evaluations, and assessments in support of NAVWAR requirements.

  • Understands the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) RF environment and can model the impact of electromagnetic effects on GNSS signals

  • Accurately determines the navigation performance of integrated GPS/PNT systems

  • Compares model performance with hardware-in-the-loop performance of GNSS and integrated GPS/PNT systems

  • Identify processes and techniques to obtain specific models and simulations and engineering data requirements, and facilities required to satisfy stated test objectives.

  • Develops techniques for the validation of engineering data. Prepare reports to support test objectives.

  • Run various models to support real-world contingency planning and operations.

  • Assess/define vulnerabilities of systems and subsystems operating in NAVWAR environments.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • BSin Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science,Physics orrelated field.

  • 10 years’ experience in Test and evaluation, modeling,simulating, or analyzing RF environmentsinGPS/PNT and/or electronic warfare.

  • Demonstratedapplicable experience in one or more disciplines of GPS, PNT, and/orCommunications engineering.

  • Experience inGPS/PNT, RF Theory, electronic warfare, navigation warfare

  • Experience in performinghardware-in-the-loop testing by integrating hardware and assets with softwaretools

  • The ability toarticulate simulation/test results

  • Proficiency inusing high-level computational tools (Matlab, Python, C#, etc.) to facilitateanalysis

  • US Citizen and Active TS clearance, ability to get and maintain SCI.

  • Applicants selected for employment will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials.

Preferred Experience:

  • MS inAeronautical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science,physics orrelated field.

  • Experienceworking with satellite simulators or simulation software.

  • Proficiency with GIANT, Systems ToolKit, and/orBuilder.

  • Previous experience GPS/PNT portfolio systems (Space,Ground, and user segments).

  • 15 years’ experience in Test and evaluation in GPS/PNTand/or electronic warfare.

  • Strong experiencein electronic warfare (most preferably Navigation Warfare)

  • Experience indesign, fabrication, and test of printed circuit boards and surface mountedcomponents
