Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Mission Performance Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Analyst.

Work under the direction of a study team. Develop system models and operations performance simulations to assess the operational capability of missile defense systems. Work will be performed at Parsons and or Parsons subcontractor facilities, in both Collateral and TS//SCI//SAP locations. Develop algorithms and code representations of missile defense system operational capabilities. Support design, development and operation of a digital engineering infrastructure-based missile defense system battle simulation (missile defense system vs. multi-missile attacks).

The selected candidate will have proficiency working on one or more of the following systems/missions:

  • ​ballistic missile defense

  • tracking sensor systems

  • discriminating sensor systems

  • directed energy weapon systems

  • kinetic energy weapon systems

  • space based systems

  • communications systems

  • ballistic missile systems

  • hyper-glide missile systems

  • cruise missile systems

  • battle management systems

  • model & simulation based system performance analysis

  • proficiency in modeling complex systems using C++, MATLAB, Python, and/or Julia

  • proficiency in integrating multiple libraries for astrodynamics, complex data structures, and complex algorithms (e.g., sensing, flight dynamics)

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering or Physics

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • TS/SCI

  • SAP access eligibility

  • US citizenship

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
