Parsons is now hiring a Office Engineer for our program at LAX. The main focus would be collecting and reporting on risk data that would compiled and provided by various projects underway.

We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and leadership skills. In this role you will provide a broad spectrum of technical and administrative duties primarily associated with submittal and Request for Information (RFI) management, risk data management, and construction management support. You will work closely with project construction, engineering and contracts staff.
Assist the engineering and construction team in the receipt, distribution and maintenance of submittals. Perform construction contract correspondence, document and plan control function, input data into Prolog, and prepare management information status report, as required.
Update and maintain logs for submittals and RFIs in Prolog, the project information system.
Maintain project and/or risk files and document / submittal management systems (hard and electronic copies). Ensure the project information and reports are posted efficiently and in a timely manner. Distribute documents, submittals and RFIs for review; track and compile responses/review comments, obtain management approval and issue responses.
Manipulate electronic files of various formats to create exhibits for presentations and meetings.
Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project such as: attend and document project meetings (write agendas and minutes), perform expediting functions, and prepare and maintain an expediting log; etc.
Obtains, compiles, and circulates risk data for various projects to appropriate management
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)
10+ years of related field engineering experience, or a broad general engineering/construction background
Professional registration may also be required
Familiarity with Monte Carlo or risk analysis
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Familiarity of industry practices and regulations
