Are you ready to be part of a brand-new cybersecurity project management office that will help build the necessary project management infrastructure and resources to support cyber vulnerability assessments? If you're interested in leveraging your technical writing skills to truly make an impact in improving our nation's security, we have the ideal role for you to kick off your new career at Parsons!
On our recently awarded program, you'll get the chance to leverage your existing technical writing skills to help establish a cybersecurity project management office, documenting everything needed to ensure successful implementation of the team's cybersecurity assessments processes. You'll get to build training materials for the teams and ensure adoption of all relevant processes for identification, prioritization, scheduling, and execution of these assessment services via your awesome written communication skills. You work will ensure the team can provide the best possible cybersecurity vulnerability assessments of large-scale DOD systems both now and far into the future.
In this role you will:
Support development of standard approaches to plan and manage cybersecurity vulnerability assessments of large-scale DOD systems, as well as all the necessary training material to ensure successful adoption of these approaches
Ensure successful written documentation and knowledge capture of ideal plans, processes, and standard operating procedures for the cybersecurity project management office (and provide regular refinement / improvements)
Leverage your written communication skills ensure successful knowledge transfer across all facets of the project management office to the teams performing the cybersecurity vulnerability assessments across
- 8+ years of technical writing and/or cybersecurity experience with a HS diploma
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Communications or related field + 4 years of technical writing and/or cybersecurity experience
Demonstrated technical writing expertise
Knowledge of / experience with cybersecurity
ACTIVE TS/SCI POLY clearance
- Cybersecurity certification (Sec+, CISSP, CEH, etc.)
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
