Job Description:
Are you ready to be part of a brand-new cybersecurity project management office that will help build the necessary project management infrastructure and resources to support cyber vulnerability assessments? If you’re interested in leveraging your project management skills to truly make an impact in improving our nation’s security, we have the ideal role for you to kick off your new career at Parsons!
On our recently awarded program, you’ll get the chance to leverage your existing project management skills to help establish a cybersecurity project management office, determining the best approaches for managing everything related to the team’s cybersecurity assessments. You’ll get to support establishment and improvement of all relevant processes for identification, prioritization, scheduling, and execution of these assessment services. You work will ensure the team can provide the best possible cybersecurity vulnerability assessments of large-scale DOD systems both now and far into the future.
In this role you will:
Support establishment, documentation, and implementation of standard approaches to plan and manage cybersecurity vulnerability assessments of large-scale DOD systems
Determine ideal plans, processes, and standard operating procedures for the cybersecurity project management office (and provide regular refinement / improvements)
Help plan and execute strategies for communicating the project management office functions, outputs, and updates to the relevant stakeholders
Leverage your interpersonal skills to foster relationship development with our customers to gain additional insights, information, and documentation to improve our ability to accomplish our project management mission
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of project management, systems engineering, and/or cybersecurity experience with a HS diploma
OR
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Project Management or related field + 8 years of project management, systems engineering, and/or cybersecurity experience
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Project Management or related field + 6 years of project management, systems engineering, and/or cybersecurity experience
Demonstrated project management expertise
Experience with creating high level SOP’s or Business Process documents
Strong Technical Writing experience
ACTIVE TS/SCI POLY clearance
Desired Qualifications:
Project Management Certification (PMP, etc.)
Cybersecurity certification (Sec+, CISSP, CEH, etc.)
Experience with / knowledge of large-scale DOD Systems or experience with cybersecurity operations
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph

Salary Range:
$110,600.00 - $199,100.00
