Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Staff Officer to join our team! In this role you will get to support a DOD Military Construction (MILCON) office in the planning, design, construction, fit-up and occupation of a series of facilities at a flagship DOD campus.
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing direct daily support to office leadership; listen and respond to requests
Updating weekly and monthly briefings for senior leadership
Supporting security processing of individuals and companies requiring campus access
Preparing PowerPoint presentations with graphics to summarize impacts and solutions
Distilling complex issues to a Bottom Line Up Front type of graphic
Coordinating schedules with internal and external customers
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Good written and oral communications skills
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite of tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Time management and prioritization skills to deliver products in the time allotted
Organized records management skills and ability to find documents filed by others
Working knowledge of the three competing project components of Cost, Schedule and Quality
Ability to identify/understand a problem or issue, investigate/question to find out relevant facts and assumptions, and offer a logical solution to the collaborative effort of problem solving
Ability to quickly and cheerfully adapt to changing project/task guidance
Works well with a wide variety skills and personalities of team members
Active TS SCI w/Polygraph required
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Familiarization with planning, design, construction, renovation, recapitalization, commissioning, fit-up, and occupation of new or existing facilities
Experience in developing briefings and reports summarized to only the salient points intended for senior leaders
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph

Salary Range:
$39.18 - $68.56
