Ready to be part of a cutting edge growing Cyber Security project that will make a huge impact on the DOD/Intel community? Parsons is looking for a Technical Program Leader to help support a contract expansion within the Cyber Security arena.
The Program-level technical leader is assigned to understand, track and define mission priorities for addressing cyber vulnerabilities. Scope of this role requires hands-on and daily engagement with Organizational and Program leadership. The following summarizes role responsibilities and delivery expectations.
Define technical Program vision in synch with Mission Organizations, foster and maintain relationships with Organization-level technical leadership and Chiefs
Align Program technical strategies derived from Organization Mission needs with program technical strategies
Understand, track and deconflict Mission capability needs; identify and call-out technical guidance inconsistencies; work with Government leadership to deconflict and prioritize
Develop and maintain Program technical roadmap (understanding current and future requirements relating to priorities)
Fully understand and develop a plan for understand how Parson’s capabilities, skills and abilities can be deployed to support Mission needs
Define gaps and draw conclusions on how to connect the gaps in those areas; work with Program leadership and Galaxy strategist to determine approach for closing gaps
Integrate with TTMs, Project and Engineer Leads and Lab leadership to understand and track emerging/requested technologies for deployment within Mission solutions
Work with TTMs on technical performance within projects; remove blockers and limitations in concert with TTM guidance, inclusive of Project and Engineering leads
Provides Technical solutions to Mission challenges, provides implementation plan on technical solutions, changes
Facilitate across team and across Organizational deep dive technical discussions to establish and validate priorities and solution development dependencies
Advise the lab strategy solutions and development, provide guidance and help to driving actions
Research industry trends to help drive tech solutions and provide substantial data to back up solutions. Present solutions up to Mission Organization when applicable and able
10 years technical contributor experience in development or sustainment of IT or IA products.
BS degree in STEM related field, Electrical / Computer / Software Engineering, CS, Math or Information systems. Masters preferred.
5 years in a technical leadership role managing information technology/information assurance projects with at least 10 FTE staff supporting a diverse range of technical tasks
5 years experience managing tasks on Government contracts. Demonstrated experience in providing technical management oversight focusing on the overall quality, cost, and timeliness of the deliverable, Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Project / Primavera to include identifying milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and performing resources allocation. .
An ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Place of performance is Linthicum and travel to Annapolis Junction and Columbia MD
