Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a great client and to join a dependable, highly ethical organization? Parsons is seeking a Project Management Director for a major mixed used development.
The selected candidate will have an in depth and broad knowledge of project delivery across the whole life-cycle, including initiation and establishment of project governance, planning, risk, scope, communication and interface management, and will be our point of contact with the client. You will be integral to helping execute existing work by assuring project management activities undertaken during design and construction stages result in high delivery certainty and in accordance with our contractual obligations. In addition to supervising Parsons' project management staff and co-ordination with third party consultants and stakeholders, you will build on our professional relationships with key subcontractors during the program execution. You will assign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths. Your knowledge of the client's goals and objectives will be instrument al in discussing any changes to the scope of work or new projects, contracts with key subcontractors, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Keys to your success will be your knowledge of project management skills and techniques, all round understanding of multidisciplinary delivery, and ability to monitor our deliverables for adherence to client criteria as well as help execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of this very important program.
25+ years of project management experience on high value, complex and prestigious projects, including tall towers, large scale retail, and high quality residential and hospitality. Experience in the management of leading international design consultants would be advantageous.
Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background
Bachelor's degree in Project/Construction Management, Engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution
Professional registration (RICS, APM, CIOB), or similar is required
Ability and willingness to travel nationally to support client and project teams
