Job Description:

Our Parsons Atlanta office in Peachtree Corners is now hiring for an Associate Construction Engineer , who will be responsible for a broad spectrum of technical and administrative duties primarily associated with project document management and construction management support. You will be assisting the construction manager and project team in the receipt, distribution and maintenance of all project documents.

This posting is being used to collect resumes in the event that we win a project in Fall 2021. Therefore hiring will be delayed until that point in time.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CM with the submittal, design revue, and plan revision process. Receive, record, review, transmit, and track the resolution of the task. Maintain appropriate logs in the project information system.

  • Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project such as: attend and documents project meetings (write minutes), perform expediting functions.

  • Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of design and construction activities for higher level management and clients.

  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

  • Requires full-time in-person at the project office in Atlanta, Georgia

Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering is required.

  • Zero to three (3) years' experience directly supporting an active construction project, preferably civil, highway related.

  • Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam software or other PDF programs.

  • Must be licensed to operate motor vehicles in accordance with Georgia law.
