T4 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 4 (T4) to Parsons in August 2012. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.3 billion+ contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP) modernization efforts: Site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, CAD, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA’s nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories. An average staff of 400-500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to those subcontractors who perform construction work.
Serves as a Senior Expeditor on the T4 Contract for the Southern Region based in Atlanta, GA.
Locate and move materials and tools between work areas of warehouse and field. Process property, according to pre-determined schedules and priorities, and keep related records, review production schedules, maintain accurate inventory of all materials. Prepare inventory records and reports and investigate discrepancies in stock counts. Confer with project managers and procurement staff to inform them of location, availability, and condition of materials. Locate and move materials to specified areas in regional warehouse and outside staging areas, using cart, hand truck, or forklift and record quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand. Work will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to expedite movement of materials between warehouse and trucks or trailers used to ship materials to field locations.
2-year degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent) and 5-8 years of related work experience. Must be able to meet FAA client security requirements (moderate to high risk). A background check by federal authorities will be performed.
Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required. Additionally, a demonstrated proficiency in keyboard skills and the utilization of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, is required.
Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by Federal Authorities will be performed.
