Put your expertise to work on complex, aviation construction projects at the world’s busiest airport. Parsons is now hiring an experienced Senior Resident Engineer to provide exceptional leadership and oversight on a major construction projects at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

In this role, you will provide oversight and direction to multi-disciplined teams, using management and leadership skills to drive construction projects to a successful completion. As the Senior Resident Engineer you must be able to communicate effectively to multi-disciplined groups and be able to build a consensus by fostering the creation of strong relationships internally and externally.The preferred candidate is someone that is versatile, able to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments, and demonstrates exceptional leadership, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

  • BS Degree in Engineering, ConstructionManagement or related field. A registeredProfessional Engineer, or Certified Construction Manager is desirable.

  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience managing large constructionprojects and the inspection of work in the field; preferably at a major orhub airport.

  • Experience in theadministration of Construction Management at Risk (CMR) or Design Build (DB)contracts as part of an aviation construction program

  • Previous experience leading,coordinating, and supervising a CM field staff including multiple Residentand Assistant Resident Engineers, Office Engineers and at team of fieldinspectors.

  • Ability to communicate with and coordinate with variousstakeholders at a major airport.

  • A comprehensive understanding of the construction of newcast-in-place, post-tensioned, concrete parking facilities is preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience inreviewing and understanding a contractor’s safety plan and QA/QC plan.Must also have experience in reviewing and utilizing a project procedures manual.

  • Knowledge of various scheduling,spreadsheet, document preparation, and construction database software(such as P6, PMWeb, Microsoft Office package, and others).

  • Safety Training (minimum OSHA 30Hour).

  • Must be able to work as needed,which may include evenings and weekends.

  • Must be able to stand or walkfor extended periods of time, as well as lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
