We need our DevOps Engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to tackle new challenges across the full-stack as we continue to push securityforward.

In this role youwill work directly in an operations organization on a small, tight-knit development team helping to drive the customer's computer network operations (CNO) mission into the future.You'll interface directly with expert CNO analysts to design and develop tools to codify their knowledge and help achieve maximal mission effect - including directly executing mission yourself to help battle-harden your tools. The most common languages we currently use are Python and C/C++. In addition, it is expected that you will provide automation to common workflows, support the on-going Infrastructure-As-Code initiative and develop highly customizablewithin a much broader ecosystem. As with any large-scale system, you will also be responsible for developing monitoring and metrics collection for distributed systems used to detect and proactively correct errors.

We are focused on providing our customers expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilities. Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience building and shipping production-ready enterprise software using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework

  • Experience with Version Control Systems (e.g. subversion, git, mercurial)

  • Experience using Linux and developing applications that run on Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with service-oriented architecture, micro services, and containerization using Docker

  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)

  • Familiarity with message queuing systems (e.g. RabbitMQ/AMQP, ZeroMQ, etc.)

  • Familiarity with key-value stores (e.g. Redis, etcd, etc.)

  • Familiarity with large file storage (e.g. S3, minio, etc.)

  • Familiarity with HTTP and design patterns applicable to RESTful web applications

  • Familiarity with asynchronous design patterns and websockets

  • Familiarity with agile process and test-driven development

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. git, subversion, mercurial)

  • General knowledge of computer architecture, computer networks, and operating systems.

  • Advanced knowledge of computer architecture, computer networks, and operating systems.

  • Experience in ethical hacking, cyber-security, or other relavent background.

  • Familiarity is a plus with configuration management software such as ansible.

  • Familiarity is a plus with containers and container orchestration via docker, docker compose, kubernetes, and helm
