Parsons Space Architecture is now accepting applications for a current program. This program is a modernization effort that is focused on rearchitecting an existing system for deployment to a Kubernetes cluster hosted in AWS. Parsons is seeking strong software engineers with experience in managing and deploying containers into Kubernetes clusters. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience with cloud DevOps concepts, working with AWS environments, Cloud Development, Kubernetes/Container Orchestration, and a diversity of programming languages.
Required Qualifications:
Current TS/SCI security clearance or crossover eligible SSBI
Experience with one or more of the following languages: Java, Go, Python, Javascript, TypeScript, Groovy
Experience with Container (Docker/Podman/OCI) technologies
8+ years' software engineering experience
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced understanding of Agile and DevOps software methodologies
Advanced understanding of software engineering including application build and deployment concepts
Expertise with Cloud Computing technologies - AWS, Azure, or GCP - certifications preferred
Expertise with Kubernetes - certifications preferred
The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $120,000.00.Benefits for this position include: medical, dental, vision, paid time off and 401K.Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
