We're looking for a Senior Analytic Developer to work directly in a cybersecurity organization on an innovation-focused development team helping to ensure our customers' world-class CND capabilities stay ahead of the curve. You will work directly on generating and developing advanced analytics contributing your own innovative ideas and revolutionize threat and anomaly detection capabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Extensive experience in Python or Java development and be able to utilize different libraries and apply machine learning model concepts
Knowledge and familiarity of Big Data Platform and data aggregation from different sources
Understands host/network traffic and system logs and is able identify targets and anomalies.
Reviews vulnerability and threat reports and apply knowledge to analytic development
Knowledge and understanding of Data Science/Machine Learning concepts
Able to utilize security tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, Nmap, etc.
Collaborates among interagency partners to identify malicious activity and reviews a variety of malware sets.
Knowledge and understanding of the data collection management process.
Knowledge and understanding of network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architectures.
Knowledge and experience using virtual environments
Knowledge and familiarity of Bro/Zeek
Familiar with common Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, virus and malware behavior.
Eight (8) years of computer science, computer engineering, engineering, mathematics, or related discipline with solid software development experience
Four (4) years of experience in software development methodologies, planning, designing, and implementing requirements
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
