Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage the scope, schedule and budget for the Subscriber 700/800 MHz radio system design and implementation of all hardware and components in accordance with contract requirements and key performance indicators, including budgetary actuals vs. forecast and key milestones met on schedule

  • Plan schedule activities, allocate resources and manage project budget

  • Ensure quality control and safety while coordinating with subcontractors and internal support staff;

  • Manage client relationships and develop project scopes, negotiate hours, prepare reports develop and maintain schedules and budgets, direct and mentor project staff, and ensure quality review are complete;

  • Coordinate the review of the Scope of Work between engineering and installation teams;

  • Evaluate the organizational change needs and impacts, and implement plans to ensure the successful awareness, use and lifecycle management of the Radio system;

  • Coordinate the development of bid packages including Scope of Work, supporting documentation, independent cost estimates, and purchase requisitions;

  • Assist in the planning, development, and upkeep of the project schedule; Confer with the project team on a weekly basis;

  • Continually monitor and manage costs including procurement, labor, and other costs against the project budget; continually report progress as required to record the advancement of the project;

  • Closely monitor performance metrics against established key performance indicators and provides weekly and monthly reports to the Task Manager, Authority officials, and other agencies;

  • Attend or conduct design, survey, and production meetings with each discipline involved as needed to ensure effective project control;

  • Coordinate with the project Quality/Safety Manager to ensure that proper measures are in place to ensure the quality and safety objectives are met;

  • Prepare project‐related correspondence to consultants, contractors, Authority officials, and other agencies;

  • Manage project deliverables in Procore; and

  • Complete a daily work report that outlines the work completed for the day.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Business, or related field

  • 15+ years of experience in project management and/or construction management; plus a minimum of eight (8) years experience managing large projects;

  • Preferred Rail & Bus Infrastructure Project Experience

  • Preferred Radio Communications Infrastructure Project Experience

  • Proven ability to manage complex budgets and schedules;

  • Able to work nights and weekends;

  • Must be able to pass a government background check;

  • Must be able to work in confined spaces;

  • Ability to obtain OSHA‐10 Construction certification;

  • Must have reliable transportation; and

  • May be required to travel out‐of‐state to conduct manufacturer inspections of facilities and witness any factory acceptance testing as required by the Task Manager.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, construction drawings/blueprints

  • Proficient keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software is required. Assignments will require a working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems. Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.

Salary Range:

$126,600.00 - $253,300.00
