Parsons Corporation Service Technician in Berlin, Vermont
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
We are seeking a motivated, self-starter for a full time Service Technician position to perform equipment diagnosis and repair and inventory control tasks in Vermont! The candidate will focus on efficiency and compliance with company procedures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a key role providing technical support, equipment repair and inventory supply and maintenance. The major responsibilities of this position include:
Provide technical support and service resolution while maintaining service level requirements
Use inventory tracking software to maintain central inventory and maintenance information for local supply depot
Understand and troubleshoot issues with project hardware, including tablets, routers, printers
Perform repairs or replace equipment
Travel to customer facilities to perform equipment service
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
Drive to testing stations as required within Vermont
Adherence to all Parsons and programs policies and procedures
Based in the Montpelier, Vermont area. Same-day travel within Vermont as required.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and dependable team member. The successful candidate must demonstrate:
Ability to follow step-by-step technical instructions
Written and verbal communication skills (English)
Basic computer skills (Email, Word, Excel and Internet)
Perform additional responsibilities associated with this position as requested.
Preference will be given to those individuals who have:
High school diploma
Continuing education: college; junior college; trade/technical school; military or equivalent experience
Experience in the electronics/computer repair industry
Familiarity with automotive industry
Ability to diagnose technical problems and determine appropriate solutions
