Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Deputy Program Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to support youths in need of safe and healthy environments while they find permanent placement in communities around the country. You will lead a large group of dedicated staff.

The Deputy Program Manager provides leadership and management of all operations of care facilities. This rewarding position will put you in a position to positively impact thousands of youths and hundreds of team members.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee operations on site to ensure safety and health of youths in care

  • Manage contractor and subcontractor staff

  • Lead staff through example

  • Review operational procedures and implement changes as necessary to increase levels of care provided

  • Enforce compliance for policies and procedures for both the company and government

  • Approve schedules for staff, track and maintain appropriate levels based on occupancy

  • Act as primary interface with government leadership and report all activities in accordance with procedure

  • Manage budget and forecast for all operations

  • Review and approve program data, ensuring accuracy

  • Approve and submit scheduled reporting and perform audits

  • Assist with, approve, and facilitate training for staff

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years' administration, child protective services

  • 2 years experience in program management or as director of a licensed childcare program

  • Experience with Department of Health and Human Services

  • Experience managing an emergency intake shelter or influx care facility

  • Clean criminal background check

  • Cleared drug and health check

  • Experience managing large budgets and multiple subcontracts
