Job Description:

Parsons Client is seeking an individual with underground electric construction experience for a Construction Planning role. This role shall be responsible for shepherding projects from the Final Engineering phase to Project Closeout. This will include understanding the project scope and estimating duration, obtaining proper permits, problem-solving, materials management, and working with the Scheduling Department to get jobs scheduled for construction.

Experience:

  • Experience in the underground electric utility field.

  • Hands-on experience with high voltage systems (4 kVA, 5 kVA, and 13.8 kVA).

  • Ensures the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost

  • Ensures effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations policies

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience), and typically 15+ years of experience in field construction is required

  • Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred

  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs

  • Problem-solving

  • Understanding labor collective bargaining agreements (CBA) and interpreting labor agreements

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
