Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to influence the development of capital project plans for major healthcare systems .
What You'll Be Doing:
performing engineering analysis of building infrastructure systems
writing detailed reports of observations
developing recommendations for addressing deficient conditions
composing cost estimates for proposed projects
responding to review comments
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Ability to identify types of HVAC systems and describe operational characteristics
Ability to identify and describe types of Plumbing equipment and systems
Ability to describe types of Fire Protection systems and identify characteristics and applications
Ability to diagram characteristics of laboratory and medical gas systems and describe components in detail
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Comprehension of complex building automation and control system features
Experience performing peer reviews of contract documents for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Medical Gas systems.
Experience applying knowledge of NFPA 99, ASHRAE 170, FGI Standards
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 5+ years of related work experience. In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required.

Salary Range:
$68,400.00 - $142,600.00
