Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Systems Administrator to join our growing Mission Solutions Team!

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Provide Tier I and II systems administration and hardware support in a primarily Red Hat/ESXi environment with Active Directory

  • Provide Tier I and II Storage systems administration support on SAN, iSCSI, and distributed storage solutions

  • Support new technology integration to include container technologies under a dev/sec/ops pipeline

  • Assist with design, capacity planning, and implementation of technical hardware and software solution to meet system requirements

  • Assist with development and support of systems and methodologies for continuous container scans

  • Generate, review, and analyze manual and automated cyber reports

  • Assist in system and equipment installation, verification, and check-out

  • Contribute to and maintain automated system build tools

  • Collaborate with the network engineering team to design and deliver network environments in accordance with the overall system design

  • Be part of a technical team ensuring that all required aspects of cybersecurity is built into technical solution, covering items such as: HBSS solution, vulnerability scanning, system logging, software security, STIG compliance, etc.

  • Provide support to systems integration (technical and process related) efforts with customer and site personnel

  • Generate required RMF artifacts for ATO’s

  • Provide support to system integration (technical and process related) efforts with customer and site personnel

Required Qualifications :

  • Active Secret Security Clearance, with willingness and ability to obtain/maintain up to a TS/SCI

  • Security+ Certification

  • Willingness for minimum travel expected between Aurora and Boulder for onboarding and planned events.

  • 4+ years of experience in a systems administration role with a record of steadily increasing responsibilities

  • 3+ plus years of experience administering and provisioning local and shared storage

  • Working knowledge of security assessment/compliance products (HBSS, ACAS, OpenSCAP, ePO, SCC)

  • Understanding of network fundamentals (IP, Ethernet)

  • Experience with virtualized operating system concepts and administration

  • Experience with system automation and configuration management

  • Familiarity with network administration of routers, switches, and firewalls

  • Must be able to work in a production/operational environment

  • Experience with shell scripting languages (e.g., BASH)

  • Strong Troubleshooting skills

  • Strong Interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications :

  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Windows equivalent

  • Willingness/ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

  • Leadership experience

  • Experience within an Agile framework environment

  • Proficient with Ruby or Python

  • Management of virtualization, cloud and container technology (VMware workstation/vSphere/vCenter/ESXi, AWS EC2/S3/Glacier, Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift)

Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $161,400.00
