Assisting project staff with day to day activities on various transit projects in Vancouver and Lower Mainland.
Assist team with development of CAD drawings and preparation of engineering documentation consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, etc., including single line diagrams to complex designs according to established standards and procedures.
Utilizes technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies. Becomes familiar with various standards and codes.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position including research, proposal development support, and/or responsibilities as required.
Must be enrolled in an engineering curriculum (systems engineering, communications engineering, or related) at an accredited university and have completed at least one year of study
Internship/Co-op experience is a plus
Relevant course work required
Literate in PC software, a working knowledge of CAD, and other computer software used to complete design assignments.
