The Parsons Missile Defense and C5ISR market currently has a potential opening for a Site Manager (PM) to work in our Ramstein AFB, Germany offices. This an exciting opportunity to use your experience and skill supporting current operations and future Air Base Air Defense (ABAD) strategy, plans, and design. The Site Manager plans, designs, integrates, and coordinates ABAD Mission Operations, Mission Systems, and Operations Personnel IAW customer requirements.
Job will require relocation to Germany in Summer 2021
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of recent specialized experience, OR 10 years of recent specialized experience.
Experience managing daily operations in all functional areas, including equipment maintenance, mission operations, and general support activities including, but not limited to Occupational Health and Safety, Facility Management, and Job Control (JC)
Hold a minimum of five (5) years of Operations Management experience
Ability to perform routine qualitative and quantitative analysis, generates reports, and briefs mission system status to Government personnel daily and/or upon request
Familiar with Configuration Management (CM) principles and) processes
Understanding of domain knowledge sufficient to assess, and document the performance of modern air defense systems (examples: threat characteristics, engagement sequences and timelines; air domain situation awareness and decision support for operators; sensor coverage and measures of effectiveness)
Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for maintenance of the Systems Integration Laboratory, mission systems, and supporting elements
Prior military staff officer or non-commissioned officer with current air defense experience at the brigade, division, and corps/JTF level preferred
Experience with a wide spectrum of Air Force C2 systems (preferred)
Familiar with and have basic operator skills with Microsoft Office and administrative level skills with Microsoft SharePoint
Strong interpersonal skills, be customer oriented, and must operate independently
Highly evolved writing and briefing skills
Ability to effectively interact and brief senior Government civilian and military leadership
Experience with and a solid working knowledge of both the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and the US military staff organization and process
Experience in working with European Theater to include contract oversite/management and SOFA processes is strongly desired
Air Force C2, Air Operations Center (AOC), and missile defense experience is also preferred
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
