Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. CUAS Technical Director to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the development of Parsons Counter-UAS suite of solutions
What You'll Be Doing:
Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CUAS technology across Parsons
Develop tailored mission and technical architectures for specific customer problem sets
Develop systems and software to integrate, enhance and optimize detection, tracking, identification and mitigation of CUAS threats.
Support the development of the CUAS business, providing technical leadership and written contribution to bids and proposals
Represent Parsons as a thought leader in the area of CUAS and present at conference and trade shows
Mentor and lead technical staff in both direct report and matrixes capacities
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS, (Masters or PhD. Preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering
10+ years experience in Counter-UAS, unmanned vehicle engineering, and/or air defense systems
Experience with the spectrum of CUAS Radars, RF sensors, cameras, Command and Control (C2) systems, object detection software and Tactical displays.
Minimum of a Secret clearance
Ability and willingness to be very hands-on with software and hardware
Extensive experience with Java. Familiarity with Python, C+, C# preferred
Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) applications in CUAS
Driven individual who will be relentless in moving the system forward and solving the most difficult customer problems.

Salary Range:
$165,000.00 - $310,000.00
