Parsons seeks to hire an Information System Security Officer to provide comprehensive information system security support to an Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The ISSO will be responsible for providing day-to-day classified system security operations. In this role, you'll maintain effective communications with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Information System Owner, Authorizing Official (AO) or Delegated Authorizing Official (DAO), Information System Security Engineer (ISSE), and the Security Control Assessor (SCA). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hardening servers and applications to DISA standards and Assured compliance Assessment Solution scans and documenting
Managing implementations of technology in support of STIGs, CONOPS, POA&M to maintain security/regulatory and corporate policies/compliance requirements
Perform proactive assessments ad testing/validation of controls against self-auditing
Information Assurance (IA) compliance
Manage networked deployments of Linux Operating; Windows Server/Workstation; managing Active Directory and VMWare at various levels of convergence
Troubleshoot technical configurations and make recommendations on the protection of classified and sensitive data
Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of directly related experience; additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered
Demonstrated ability to work independent of close supervision
1+ years Linux OS
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
