Are you a Linux System Administrator familiar with managing critical computer systems? If so, we are seeking Linux System Administrators to support diverse and challenging systems that are evolving as the technology landscape changes. Your role will be essential to the design, implementation, validation, management, security, and delivery of these systems. This is your chance to help us with this vital mission.


A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Network Engineering, Computer Security, Information Technology or related discipline and 8+ years of relevant professional experience

Applicants selected for employment must have a DoD TS clearance and will be subject to a federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials.

Linux System Administration

  • Ubuntu and Red Hat Linux System Administration

  • Satellite system management automation to deploy, scale and manage Red Hat infrastructure across physical and virtual environments

  • Ansible automation

  • Identity Management

  • Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Authentication

  • Networking Configuration

  • Shell and Python programming

  • HTTPS, SSH, SSL, DNS, DHCP, IP Tables configuration and administration

  • Linux OS Loading and maintaining the repository on a closed network

  • Backup and Restore implementation

  • Build Machine Maintenance

Computer Hardware

  • Laptop, desktop computers

  • Rackmount Servers

  • Storage Array Systems

  • Backplane technology

Cyber Security

  • Experience with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) information assurance methods.

  • IP Tables

  • Computer Security Certification Scans

VM and Cloud Computing Administration

  • VMWare vSphere, vSAN and ESXi virtualization technology

  • Compute and Disk Server Administration

Desired Skills

Cyber Security

  • Penetration Testing

  • Firewall Configuration

  • Access Control Lists

Network Device Administration

  • Experience with Cisco and Juniper Routing and Switching equipment

  • Switch with VLAN Configuration

  • L3 Switch (VLAN and Routing Protocols)

  • SOHO device configuration

  • Cisco IOS Experience with CCNA Preferred

  • Wireshark, Netcat, nmap, iperf, traceroute, nessus
