Responsibilities:
Assess system architecture and current hardware limitations
Participate in gathering business and product functional and performance requirements
Define and design system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software
compatibility
Participate in customer briefings and technical exchanges
Frequent local DC Metro Area travel
Occasional Domestic and/or International travel
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related from an accredited institution
5+ years of experience as a systems engineer or similar role
Experience working with Linux (RHEL or CentOS a plus)
Familiarity with virtualization technologies, networking, shell scripting
Active TS security clearance

Desired Qualifications:
Redhat Certified Systems Administrator/Redhat Certified Engineer
Familiarity with software development lifecycle
Experience with configuration management and discrepancy tracking tools
Experience with Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
