What You'll Be Doing:
In this role, The Network Operations Center Commander will lead and oversee all duties and responsibilities of the Network Operations Team, including all infrastructure monitoring, observability, and engineering activities. framework to enhance infrastructure service delivery in the enterprise network, server, boundary, and other infrastructure technologies in public cloud / AWS / Azure and on-prem / VMWare environments while keeping your teams’ skills up to date with the ever-changing environments
Your focus is establishing and maintaining a state-of-the-art infrastructure monitoring capability using various cutting-edge technologies to observe Parson’s hybrid cloud infrastructure environment. These technologies include Artificial Intelligence Operations (AiOps), Predictive analytics, and machine learning to ensure the Company’s effectiveness in identifying and responding to real-time escalation issues and using AI to detect and prevent service outages before they occur.
Assist various IT service teams with identifying relevant key performance indicators
Research, influence, and recommend best practices, procedures, and tooling to meet monitoring, observability and AiOps key performance indicators.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure delivery of the most relevant telemetry to ensure our end users’ highest level of service.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Ability to develop strong relationships with internal teammates and business partners
Strong communication skills are required, along with an ability to manage, evaluate, motivate and prioritize
Passion for continuous learning in IT infrastructure observability
Strong understanding of AiOps principles
Ability to create a vision and convey the message in a persuasive manner
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent
Experience with Splunk, Grafana, vRealize Log Insight, Logic Monitor
Strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and relevance to monitoring and observability
Expertise in log aggregation
Experience with Pager Duty Automation
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Leadership Experience
Strong Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools, including Cisco vManage, DNAC, Thousand Eyes, Splunk, Grafana, and VMWare vRealize Network Insight
Strong understanding of Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and NetFlow
Strong experience with Log Ingestion and Log management
Experience with SAFe Lean-Agile project management
Infrastructure Monitoring Data Analytics / Data Visualization

Salary Range:
$98,800.00 - $172,900.00
