We are looking for a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team on a fast-moving custom-built enterprise application ecosystem. You'll work closely with the Project Manager, the Scrum Master, the Product Owner and other team leads and team members to support the successful delivery of customer-facing products in an Agile environment. You are exceptionally organized with excellent customer engagement skills, and you genuinely enjoy the challenges and opportunities presented by coordinating the efforts and activities of a rapidly growing team on a very demanding project. You are an exceptional and empathetic listener who is able to put team members and customers at ease. You communicate confidence and calm at critical points throughout sprints and feature releases. Some of your responsibilities will include supporting your team with project documentation, workflow/process creation and follow-through, diagramming, client liaison, updating Confluence and JIRA boards, and removing blockers for your team so they can achieve their sprint goals. As a strong self-starter, you know how to successfully onboard into an existing team, and you like to invest time in exploring and learning new tools and techniques that will make your team members lives easier. Experience in Agile environments or in a Scrum Master role would be an advantage also, but if you have the right skills and a passion for learning, it's not a deal breaker.If we just described you, we want to hear from you!
Qualifications: Your career and business skills look like this:
You have 3+ years of project coordination, assistant PM or EA (Executive Assistant) experience at an enterprise level
A background in government contracting is preferred but not required
You are very proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
You have experience working with software development teams
You have worked in Agile environments or you are extremely interested in Agile methodologies and the roles inherent to that SDLC model
You have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and you don't shy away from complex challenges
You have rock solid writing and presentation skills and you enjoy crafting compelling narratives, as well as analytical, expositive and persuasive text as needed
You have a good understanding of UX/design principles in software development, and an excellent aesthetic eye
You have a proven track record of excellence with past projects, and you are considered by your peers and managers to be adaptable, flexible, proactive, and extremely organized
You embrace whatever the day brings - you truly enjoy pivoting between diverse tasks, requirements and team needs as they arise
You've worked in a distributed (remote) team environment for at least a year
You have a demonstrated ability to build and maintain colleague and client relationships
You can exercise discretion and work independently
Your technical competencies must include:
Excel (intermediate to advanced)
Your technical competencies may include :
- Undergraduate degree in a business, communications or marketing discipline (4+ years of relevant experience is also acceptable in lieu of a college degree)
You must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder), and you must have lived in the United States for at least three of the past five years.
A minimum clearance is not required to apply, however you will be required to obtain a DOT Public Trust clearance and pass a DHS Law Enforcement Background Investigation (BI) once you have accepted a job offer; the offer is contingent on your successful completion of both background checks. Should you fail to pass either, the offer will be rescinded.
The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $90,000.00.Benefits for this position include: medical, dental, vision, paid time off, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401K.
