Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs, build, innovate, and maintain a variety of different data solutions that provide meaningful/actionable insights.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Exhibit thought leadership, partner with the business to provide consultancy and translate the business needs to robust reports and interactive dashboards for insights and data visualization, utilizing AWS Quicksight.

  • Drive analysis that provides meaningful insights on business strategies that are clear, concise, and actionable.

  • Design and implement best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.

  • Design, develop, deploy and support the reports and dashboards for both external and internal users.

  • Collaborate with the developer teams to integrate dashboards and analytics into their portal/web applications.

  • Mentor team members in how to build a sustainable well-managed data solution.

  • Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.

  • Provide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc reports

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Must have 5+ years of working with/developing reports across various reporting tools, 2+ years in AWS Quicksight.

  • Must have solid Experience with AWS QuickSight, sufficient knowledge to work in AWS environments for develop, deploy, backup and restore of AWS Quicksight artifacts, extensive experience administrating AWS Quicksight using CLI and API calls.

  • Must be able to immediately contribute ideas and expertise to AWS Quicksight project without training.

  • Design abilities to guarantee that the report systems are presentable and can be used easily and effectively, strong data visualization skills to know what report/dashboard layout to use for data groupings ex: the types of charts or tables and any issues that could be caused by them.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience working with Database/data warehouse and strong SQL skills.

  • Experience in AWS data technology products and AWS environment, S3, IAM policies, roles, RDS, Codecommit, CodePipeline etc.
