Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a talented Senior Graphic Designer with TS/SCI to join our diverse and vibrant team of creatives.
This position is virtual and will require occasional travel to Northern Virginia and Maryland.
What You Will Be Doing With us:
Bring inquisitive mind and ask questions that help refine our visual narrative across print and digital deliverables
Aim to enhance the message through strategy-driven storytelling
Partner on our proposals, videos, and interview in an array of federal markets
Convert text to visuals to make complex concepts more digestible and engaging to audiences with a variety of subject matter familiarity
Develop a broad range of materials in support of our enterprise growth objectives
Work independently in a secured environment and others will involve tackling large creative solutions as part of an integrated, multi-talented team
Be part of our agile and fast-paced team and with a focus on collaboration with our internal clients and as a creative team.
You will get to express and present yours and listen to team other members’ ideas as well as collaborate with internal clients toward a final product.
What You’ll Be Part Of:
- You will be part of Parsons’ Core Creative team - an international-award-winning in-house creative agency within Parsons. Our team has a decade-long history of innovation for graphic design, 3D visualization, video/photography, illustration, creative writing, interactive, and physical deliverables.
What We Need from You:
US Citizen with active TS/SCI
Associates degree in Graphic Design or (related degree and/or Certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course
6+ years of related work experience
Proven experience translating information into compelling visuals for US Government proposals
Identify and articulate opportunities to develop new visuals to enhance the messaging
Extensive experience working creatively within brand systems and standards
Experience working as part of a creative team using established creative workflows, while also taking ownership of assignments and working independently
Experience delivering files optimized for web, digital, and print deliverables
Experience supporting formatting and layout design of long-form documents
Advanced knowledge of with Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro)
Extensive working knowledge of PC-based Microsoft Office 365 (Word and PowerPoint)
Excellent problem solver and creative thinker
Solid written communication and ability to proof work for quality and accuracy
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course (or equivalent)
8+ years of direct related experience
Experience working with technical diagrams, flow diagrams, and maps strongly preferred
Strength with copywriting, creative writing, and long form writing
Other software proficiencies including other Adobe CC apps, HTML5, SketchUp, Visio, OpenAsset
Knowledge of using JIRA to manage workflows
Experience with physical print production and finishing

Salary Range:
$27.36 - $47.88
