Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative.
Works with minimal/limited consultative direction toward predetermined long-range plans and objectives.
Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.
Applies experience toward establishing long-range plans and objectives.
Leads a technically and experientially diverse team.
Designs, researches and develops highly advanced applications which contribute to new product/business opportunities.
Participates in efforts to capture new business through technical work and capability briefings.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
IAT Level II certification
Ten years’ experience designing and implementing information management systems
Three years within the past five years of experience in product development, requirements generation, and testing methodologies, including direct control and responsibility over subordinate engineers working requirements, design, implementation, and testing of distributed cloud applications and services
Three years within the past five years of experience in development, implementation, and administration of multi-tenant, enterprise web-based solutions using automated processes and tools to perform system availability and integrity monitoring, validate security and configuration compliance, and ensure sensitive data protection
Three years within the past five years of experience with commercial cloud service providers engineering solutions in a Linux and Windows multi-tenant environment on commercial cloud services (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure).
