Position Overview:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented and growth-oriented Technical Business Development Leader to join our High Consequence Missions team! In this role you will have an opportunity to positively impact high priority national security technical challenges, while helping to identify and create innovative techniques and solutions to counter strategic pacing threats across multiple domains that include cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, space, the information environment, and in theater. Customers will rely on your aptitude and understanding of their concept of employment and operations to give them a technical edge and a surprise advantage. You will help shape and define Parsons strategic priorities and formative capabilities in support of U.S. national security and intelligence policy objectives.

This position is a Hybrid position based in either Colorado Springs, CO, Denver, CO, or Chantilly, VA. It will support Parsons’ offices in Herndon, Centreville, and Chantilly, VA and offices in Colorado (Colorado Springs, & Denver) as well as other locations in the DC Metro Area. Occasional travel to other Parsons’ facilities and customer locales may be required.

The Strategic National Systems Growth Lead candidate will be Responsible & Accountable for:

  • Identifies, develops, and drives technology-driven solutions within the HCM areas to support a full understanding of mission and customer requirements. Develops and executes comprehensive technology strategies that drive pipeline development and organizational revenue growth, to include technical strategies, proposal preparation, and overall conversion of both tactical (on-contract, TDLs) and strategic sales.

  • Using technical and mission understanding, drive short and long-term business and marketing strategies aligned with Defense & Intelligence Strategic Roadmap and HCM Vision, to include a focus on growth focus areas.

  • Supports the integration of cutting-edge technologies and tradecraft to enhance capabilities in support of key growth initiatives. Helps evaluate and recommend emerging technologies that align with mission and operational needs.

  • Execution of the HCM growth strategy through the identification and capture of qualified opportunities, to include on-contract growth and tactical sales.

  • Within HCM, support marketing campaigns to establish and cultivate key customer relationships, staffing/recruiting strategies, IR&D and technology investments, government relations, HR/people considerations.

  • Works closely with our Defense & Intelligence (D&I) Strategy and Business Development teams to conduct comprehensive market research to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in sensor-to-shooter concepts, long range kill webs, and operations

  • Significant experience analyzing and understanding strategic national systems, data links, satellite communications and technologies of use and of interest to the U.S. Government.

  • Experience with operational cyber, SIGINT, and intelligence systems supporting the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense that identify and cultivate partners that will provide value to the company for both market and individual benefit.

  • Leverages a strong network of customer and industry contacts and familiarity with our customers’ major programs and upcoming initiatives. Keeps abreast of the current business climate and overall industry trends.

  • Experience in, but not limited to, proposal development, white papers, point papers, and assistance in drafting technical reports with a focus of building sustainable and impactful programs.

  • Provides leadership and guidance across the HCM and D&I teams, developing new concepts of operations for customers from inception to completion, participating in consultative solutions development, and helping to implement innovative solutions.

  • Designs impactful and scalable technological-driven solutions and value propositions, focused on national and tactical collection systems, data links, and sensor-to-shooter/long rang kill webs.

  • Understands environmental complexity to deploy systems in difficult-to-access regions around the globe.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Technical or Business discipline

  • 15+ years of diversified experience, oriented around the Intelligence Community, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, , DoD Special Missions, and the national intelligence priority framework.

  • Extensive knowledge of the technical collection and operations markets, to include management and delivery of software/hardware capabilities in support of those mission areas.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Deep understanding of the DoD and IC acquisition lifecycles.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including captivating presentation skills.

  • TS/SCI clearance required

  • Must be willing and able to travel, as required, 10-20% with surges >30%

Salary Range:

$165,000.00 - $310,000.00

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
