Parsons is now hiring NOC/ SOC Analysts, experienced in utilizing analysis methods and practices with a passion for providing systems support on a variety of highly complex tasks. Network Exploitation Analyst

Location(s): Dulles Airport Area - Northern Virginia

Clearance Requirement: Top Secret SCI w/Poly

Duration: Stable, Multi-Year, Renewable Contract

What You Will Be Doing With US:

  • Contribute to custom tool development in support of malware analysis, vulnerability identification, fingerprinting, and malware cataloging.

  • Provide analytic expertise on identified activity that is of an unknown or suspicious origin relating to malware and computer network exploitation.

  • Analyze packet data and binary data to extract valuable information using Wireshark and other tools.

  • Provide dynamic and static analysis on malicious files to evaluate for vulnerabilities, capabilities, persistence mechanisms, determine propagation techniques, and provide signature development for collection and IDS/IPS systems.

  • Interact daily with customers, developers, and other project stakeholders.

  • Reverse Engineering and/or Protocol Reverse Engineering, providing final analysis results to customers in a technical report and detection signatures.

What We Need from You:

  • US Citizenship with Top Secret Clearance w/ Polygraph.

  • BS degree in related discipline; will consider experience in lieu of degree.

  • 2+ years of experience working with Wireshark or other network analysis tools.

  • Experience/knowledge of network configurations

  • IP

  • MPLS

  • ATM

  • Seeking proficiency in:

  • TCP/ OCI

  • Linux: Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky.

  • C/ C++ Programming Language

  • Python Programming Language

  • PowerShell, BASH, or Command Line Scripting

  • Computer Forensics

  • Intrusion Analysis

  • Malware Analysis

  • Threat Hunting

  • Ethical Hacking

  • Offensive Cyber

  • Reverse Engineering

  • Digital Exploitation

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • JCAC, CTN, CCNA, SANS GCIA / GCIH or other specialized cyber/ InfoSec training or certifications.

  • Experience working with Wireshark or other network analysis tools.

  • Enjoys exploring binary data, finding patterns, and reverse engineering proprietary protocols.

  • Experience with creating custom programs/scripts for automating tasks..

  • Experience working in a Linux command-line environment.

  • Ability to communicate well with customers, developers, and other mission partners.

  • Stays up-to-date on worldwide events/technology trends/cybersecurity/ threat intelligence.

Salary Range:

$56,900.00 - $199,100.00
