Job Description:
As part of this mission critical program at Parsons, you will help shape the future of Cyber Security and innovative technologies. You will wireframe and prototype intuitive user experiences, identify design problems, and gather user feedback. You will also innovate methods of problem solving while maintaining a user-centric approach. Finally, you will collaborate with stakeholders and developers to ensure the design vision is executed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work within a team to envision product strategy
Synthesize customer requirements into meaningful features
Craft User Flows and Journey Maps
Wireframe User Interfaces
Conduct Usability Testing and Heuristic Evaluations
Learn and understand users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Human Factors Engineering, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related User Experience/User Interface Design field
5+ years of related experience
A portfolio representing a diverse set of User Interface designs using the UX process
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using Axure, Adobe Xd, Sketch, Figma, UXPin, or other wireframe and prototyping software
Experience in HTML, CSS. Understanding of Javascript, as well as familiarity with React and/or Angular frameworks.
Familiarity with the computer hardware, software, and networking domain
Working within an Agile environment
Understanding of the Design Thinking process
