Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Vice President of Human Resources Operations to join our team! In this role you will get to provide leadership in HR disciplines associated with the operational excellence of the function.

In this role, you will oversee HR Information Systems, HR Analytics, HR Central, Employee Relations, Compliance and Global Mobility for the organization. These groups are focused on identifying opportunities for improvement, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices to optimize HR processes and systems across the business. You will also participate in cross functional meetings to review requirements, as well as advise on the implementation of strategic plans in partnership with business units to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while meeting the needs of the customers. This position reports to the CHRO and is located in Chantilly, VA.

This is a Hybrid role

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of HR systems administration, including implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) platforms.

  • Lead system integrations with other business systems in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system enhancement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Partner with HR stakeholders to develop strategies and plans on change management opportunities and special projects.

  • Understand industry trends and regulatory changes related to global compliance and data privacy and the impacts to HR systems and employment practices.

  • Provide forecasting, capacity planning, and other talent metrics to support data-driven decision making and strategic planning.

  • Coach, advise and help set priorities for the teams aligning individual development and strategic business needs.

  • Oversee employee relations practices, including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes.

  • Lead and manage the HR Central team to ensure training and measurable metrics are in place to deliver best in class customer service.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, specifically, talent acquisition to ensure seamless transition of candidates from hire to on-boarding. Ensure measurable feedback mechanism is in place to continuously monitor employee experience during the on-boarding phase.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 20+ years of overall HR experience managing HR systems, people and processes.

  • Expert working knowledge of HRIS/HRMS, database systems, and HR-related technologies.

  • Working knowledge of US Employment Laws and Compliance; experience with Affirmative Action Plans and other Federal reporting requirements

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.

  • Strong project management skills; highly organized, execution focused, excellent time management and the ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to be agile and prioritize work in a fast-paced complex environment.

  • Highly capable of creating and presenting technical information in a consumable format to drive decisions.

  • Knowledge and experience of meeting legislative and governance requirements and records management.

  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.

  • Able to empower and delegate to functional owners on the HR Operations team.

Salary Range:

$179,800.00 - $343,700.00

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
